  • Vibe 50 and v-bar

Hi setting up a friends vibe 50 with v-bar and need some advice.

Head is set up fine and moved ball links in and I tried to fly it today but any stick movement was accentuated and felt like it was being pulled by invisible wire and almost uncontrollable.

Cyclic gain is set at 80 and running v5 as not yet upgraded to v5.1 My 550 is set at 80 across the board and flies rock solid, do you think the cyclic gain is too high? Also not being a nitro flier myself what gyro pads are you using ie metal plates etc?

Any advice would be gratefully recieved as I need to get this heli flying.

    Thanks

For nitro I use the Spartan grey tape metal plate and Spartan White tape this helps reduce vibes also gains are different for all helis my velo 90 is on 72 my 700 is 90 and my fusion 50 was 63 so go figure ??? Try lowering it and see what happens

Kel thanks for the reply just realised I have posted this in the wrong forum!

Will lower the cyclic gain to 60 and change the mounting of the sensor and see how it goes.

I use either the metal plate or 2 layers of number plate tape.

What are the vibes like on the Spektrum Analyser, I would guess there is a vibration somewhere along the lines.
