Well what can I say , It was long overdue , I guess , and poor old Rexy bit the farm yesterday whilst I tried flying to music for the first time.
Things started to get a bit silly yesterday at the club and the usual mickey (read PI**)tacking resulted in me using rexy to cut the heads off the daisy's whils hovering nose in invirted, somthing I haven't been doing that long.(nose in invirted)
Then I did a whole flight only flying backwards, loops rolls and some nice backwards flying , ok the odd mistake but reasonably good.
Anyway my ego boosted up by that I decided to try flying to music, so a suitable track selected , headphones on and away we go
Track 1 Jordan sparks "no air" and I was in the zone flying like I had never done before really enjoying myself, but here is where it went wrong 
the next track was a Pink song and much more tecnical so I am zooming around the sky and ,..... disorientation 
hits I am a long way off and the fight begins ,...... followed by my first "Brown out" to music lol, I got it sorted and ended up about 80 feet away about 20 feet up and I throw in a roll after that I have no idea what happened some sort of Chaos thingy and wow Rexy went in sooooooooo hard
The bad bit is I never herd the bang as the music was quite loud in my headphones.
A couple of the guys came over to help and asked what went wrong? my reply ? " Sh*T song choice, lol, bits picked up and off to the pits.
To be honest not too bad canopy a little scared but reusable , frames ok, boom and all on it trashed , skids , blades , Radix 690's (sob), but could have been worse.
Oh my question I have striped the gears on two Bls 252's can you get just the plastic gears ?
as the full gear set is £32
and I think I have done all 3 servos
Flying to music is great fun but pic your track carefully as you sort of get carried away and soon , as I found out , reach the limit of your ability .
Still a fab day's fun flying and nice and sunny too
