    My new heli...

    VARIO SKYFOX EQUREUIL SQUIRREL

should be good once its all sorted out although I need a new receiver for it and its going to need a 12 channel one maybe an 8 channel one would do it...

Skyfox mechanics and 4 servo controlled swash... should be interesting

Has a JR490 gyro and 9254 tail servo but know nothing on the JR gyros so need to read up on them as well!

It'll probably fly as is for now... Although the rear tail blades are woodies and will be changed ASP as my helis live out side in a garage the damp/cold will do them no good at all.

If anything it'll end up with black NHP mains cheap and generally look good

            Hum...

Managed to get the lights working...

The 2nd set though I need to ID...

anyone know what lights these are:

They work on 4.8v but 7.4v they really work

but i'd like to know exactly what they are and what they run on.

ah found them they run on upto 9v...

so they will work well on a 2s li-po that will go under the floor.

Now swash working or at least it appears to very strange left/right slight angles

plus the whole mechanics leans forward which is strange after flying pod/boom for so long...

hoping to test fly this in the next few days...

put a Duralite battery system into it, removed the subc battery pack just don't trust them with so much going on servo wise...

The JR490T gyro though is taking some getting used to... has the tail creep where in HH the tail creeps one way...
just need some gain values and then need to get a head speed sorted and pitch and maybe just maybe it can fly...

As to the 490T tail creep, this is normal and can be corrected by adjusting the sub trim of the rudder channel. Enter your sub trim menu and adjust the rudder sub trim left or right (depending on which way it's creeping) and recentre the stick and check to see if the creep has stopped, keep adding left or right until the rudder servo is motionless and you're done
You can now set up the tail geometry in the usual way.

ah but this creep is on the ground not running yet so on the ground nothing running this is normal ?

Yep, exactly, adjust the sub trim till it stops creeping, it should work, give it a try.

I meant to add, you shouldn't need more than a value of around 6-8 of sub trim to correct it.
