Yes it can be used with a Regulator no problems, what ever voltage you put into the Total G that is what voltage the servos wil get , i use one with a Ely Q Reg and run a different voltage to the ccpm servos to the tail servo and throttle servo by powering the servos off the Ely Q reg..

Thanks for your reply Ade, if I set my ReactorX to 6v will that be okay for the inbuilt tail gyro? The servo I'm using for my tail is an Align Ds620 so will be okay with 6V?

The TotalG is rated upto 10v so it will work if you set the ReactorX at 6v. The DS620 is also rated at 6v so you will be fine with that setting.

From memory the recommendation in the ReactorX manual is for the 6.8v setting if you use a 6v capable tail servo. I've been running my Trex 700 with a DS650 tail servo on all year without any issue.

I ran mine straght off a 2s pack @8v.

Used a Flightpower Rx pack (comes with servo connectors fitted) which can plug straight into the TotalG or through a switch.

That'll work just replace the VBar with a TotalG and you should be good to go.

One thing I did see in the picture is that there is a jumper plug still connected in the photo, it's around the middle of the ReactorX, this selects 8.4v so you'll need to remove that if you're not using servos that can take 8.4v.
