  • G4.5 - play tranny or real one??

I have had G4 with the included 'play' tranny for a while but never really got to grips with it.

I want to adjust settings for throws, idle up and expo etc - is there a way of doing it with the play tranny or should I use my real tranny ?? (JR DSX 9)

If the answer is to use the real tranny does it use the tranny battery or is it powered from the USB port??

Or am I barking up the wrong tree all together??

Any advise gladly received - it just doesnt feel anything like flying my 'real' heli.

G4.5 you generally use the Program as in 3.5. Its just plain awkward to use TBH but is an excellent sim on par with phoenix if you have the patience. There are a few good models in the swap pages. I just prefer the simplicity of Phoenix for that reason.

Hey Skipper Billy, i use realflight with my spektrum DX6i im sure there is a way to set up some of the switches i just havent found it yet ! got my throttle hold working for auto's thou

leave the battery in the TX but dont turn it on, connect up the link cable and this should power up the TX, dont forget to re-callibrate your TX and select the controller from the drop down 'select controller' menu

      hope this helps a little
