Hi just brought bls 251 and total g system
just read the box on 251 and says only use with 611 or 601

its because the bls251 runs at a higher pulse width, most modren gyros, spartans, csm, u can change the pulse width to suit the servo, think you can change it on the total g of the top of my head -
using mine with a 720,works fine,prob because the 601/611 are both futaba.Not stupid are they

Not quite! It runs with a narrower pulse width at a higher frame rate.its because the bls251 runs at a higher pulse width
I would be suprised if the total G doesn't support Futaba tail servos, but make sure you have the output of the TG set correctly before connecting the servo else you may damage it.Comment

No will run at higher voltages think mine is running at 6v no problems yetComment

Ran mine with a 251 at one point and was fine.

The Total G will only output the voltage you put in. If you input more than 6volt, you'll need to step it down somehow. I used a Spektrum dual output regulator for the tail and throttle.Originally posted by TomW View PostIan

Workes fine with the total G , go to the tail setup menue and pic the Bls 251 from the list
You Must use a stepdown for the Tail servo 5V max
Unless anyone knows any better.
The Tail on my Vibe 50 fitted with total G is really good
Oh for info using a JR DSX9 Tx I run 92% gail in HH on the Tail no wages very locked

251 at 6v is just fine, been like it in my n9 for almost 2 years now no higher tho, so no direct 2s voltage!
