Not so much of a review I suppose as I this is my first experience of FBL, but just some information that I was looking for when I was comparing FBL units.
I have only had a couple of flights on it though, so this is the very very initial thoughts with no tweaking at all!
I went for this unit due to the fact it is an 'all in one', as it is an Rx bus, gov, fbl unit and gyro. In turn this saves weight, and frees up a bit of space for the wiring.
I opted to convert the original head using FBL;
Headblock
Blade grip arms
Pitch links
Washout collar
Washout arms
....all came to around £50
(apologies for the poor pic)

I have modified the frames slightly to fit the TotalG, so next up, the unit itself fitted. Really is a simple setup using the TotalG, Outrage tail servo, BLS351s all running at 8V.

The Instruction Manual
I though this deserved its own sub heading to point out just how uesless this really is. To me this is a poster of information, maybe something that was to advertise the product pre-release. To be given this after spending just shy of £300 is a bit of a **** take.
Ideally I want a step by step guide of what to do, I didnt even know where to start with this 'instruction manual'! All the information isnt really that detailed at all, just an overview.
It can be found here;

..and that is all you get!!
The Page connecting you to the unit, I had a bit of trouble connecting first of all as the software was missing the driver. Windows will automoatically find the missing driver though as it is just a Bus to USB one that is needed.
Cyclics
After setting up, I flew it on those settings and it was very good
I will need to speed them up but flying it was effortless, piroflips stayed at the same point, aileron tic tocs stayed level and at the same point. I knocked the gain down a bit, which removed the elevator bounce completely. The best way to describe this is that it is like flying the sim, with no corrections having to be made. Really really impressed with this part of the system.

Gyro
Humm not too keen on this at the moment tbh and would hate to see history repeat itself with the SoggyG. The tail is quick and consistant but the stops are very soft. Im a bit dissapointed at the limited options avaiable to you in the software as all you are really able to adjust is the gain. Hopefully something that will be addressed in the next FREE update.
I know the gyro requires a lot of gain, as CYB runs the servo horn at 17mm out with 70% on the endpoints, my setup is nowhere near this value so will have to wait and see. I do believe that this is an issue with my mechanical gain.

Govenor
All worked fine and just as well as my CSM. This works by upping your endpoint figure in the Tx much like the Align system, and the speed is shown on the comp.

Overall it really is a great unit with loads of potential! Everything works as it should, and does it really well (other than the tail atm). The flips are dead straight too! I have read a couple of reviews from trusted pilots that have their tail sorted so will give them a PM.
Autos well as expected, but couldnt get much higher than 15ft or so before the Great British Weather took its toll.
I would also like to see a powerlead on the unit itself, much like the AR7100 incorporates.

The Maniac blades also work really well, luckily as I have spent a small fortune lately! This setup is most definitely worth the money though
