    ElyQ 90 - pictures and video exclusive

    As promised here is the link to the pictures and video for the new ElyQ Vision 90, including comments from Stu and Adie on their experiences flying the prototypes. The video is a full 25 minutes so make sure to get a cuppa and some biscuits

    Thanks to Stu and Adie for inviting me over, it was a pleasure spending the evening at Hobby Hangar and just chatting about helis, 3D Masters, ElyQ and a whole bunch of other stuff.

      I may boost the sound on that bit as he's a fair way from the mic, the sound is there, just turn it up a bit when Adie does his intro

        Great work Ash and thanks again for taking time to come down to the shop. Hopefully people now have a better idea about the machine componants and flight characteristics !

            Unfortunately I've sold my soul to Apple with the iPad Would be great to be able to watch videos on your site using the iPad, any plans in making them compatible or do you have a link to youtube footage?

              This has got to be a serious contender for the 700 market. Really like the metal boom clamp, mod 1 gear and little touches like the big area for radio installation and cut outs for velcro straps. The break-away tabs to save the frame in the event of a crash is a great idea. Canopy looks good too.

              Very interested in this model.

                I Like the shape of the canopy. Always a massive start to a model that IMO.

                Raising flybar I've not had any dealings with before. Does anybody know the pro's and con's of them?

                I like the idea of the TT for ease on installation and should also bring down the cost of torque tube replacement down. Obviously because you don't have to buy the end pieces all the time just the tube.

                Jury's out on just radial bearings in the tail grips.

                Looks like lots of room for the radio install

                More programming on the head than you can shake a 'fat' stick at

                As Pedro says, might take on the 700 this one.!!

                  Would be great to be able to watch videos on your site using the iPad, any plans in making them compatible or do you have a link to youtube footage?
                  They are MP4 format, it's just the site player is a flash player. Click the download link and then you should be able to just download and play it.

                              Thanks Ashley, downloaded on PC and transferred to iPad, worked a treat.

                              Great video and looks very interesting, looks to be a real big competitor in the 700 market.
