I'm feeling a bit incompetent trying to set up my new DSX9 with my 500. I've set all the pitch and throttle curves same as on my DX6i, set the gyro switch on the D/R setting so I can swap settings myself, inhibited the trim levers on the side and everything looks right.
The problems are
1) The head speed sounds way higher for the same throttle curves- I've had to lower the flat section of the throttle curve to 65% to make it sound similar in normal mode.
2) There is a slight drop in head speed when I enter the hover, head speeds up again on landing and reducing pitch- it has a gentle negative pitch line to 50% then straight line to 100.
3) The biggest problem is the really aggressive shake in hovering and I mean a really nasty juddering shake. I have tried altering all the gyro settings to all possible combinations and it makes no difference. It hovers like it has a massive bend in the mainshaft, along with a fast aggressive tail wag.
I rebound it to the DX6i and there is no problem at all, so it is nothing mechanical therefore has to be the Tx settings.
Any suggestions greatfully received
Thanks
Alex
