Those who visit here often will know i have a liking for Ely Q helicopters They have now announced that there are to be some revisions to the existing line up i am not sure if it qualifies as new or not but basically the Vision 50 Ultimate will be available as the “VE” with upgrades included for £169.90. And the Vision 50 Competition will be available in stock trim still at the incredible price of £229.90 and as the “XE” version for £359.90. The details below are directly from the Ely Q website.
While waiting for the Vision 90 Competition, two new versions of our 50 class models have been introduced. They are based on the customers requests and on the suggestions gathered from our distributors.

The torque tube drive, together with a more than complete full metal & CF standard equipment, brings the Xtreme Edition of the Vision 50 Competition to a great new level in control and elegance, placing this model at the top of its category while still maintaining a really aggressive price.
In the same time, both the standard versions of our 50 class models have been updated too. The Vision 50 Ultimate gathers many upgrades to improve the customers flying experience while the new price of the Vision 50 Competition, with some little savings but a painted FG canopy, will make it really irresistible.

One thing that has not been said about the comp XE, has it got the direct link ccpm or the bell cranks, it must be the bell cranks surely??

You get the choice in the kit I believe, so both will be in the kit available to choose from. That's what their intentions are from what I have heard anyway.
