Heya All,
Received my Gyro Mount Tray today, and i must say i prefer it to sticking the Gyro right at the front or on the rear gyro plate.
I went ahead and disconnected the sensor and then removed the sensor from the front of the gyro. I then had to remove frame brace rod that is situated just in front of the starter shaft.
I examined the mount and it appears that they want you to drill a second hole to stop the gyro plate tilting, Me being me, i did not want to do this. So i pushed the Gyro mount in, and installed it it up really tight, and to be honest its not going anywhere! and because i pushed it in further so that the rear second sent of holes align up the actual frame supports the underneath slightly.
Once done, i re-installed the gyro sensor and wired it up, (still need to neaten it) And after the install i had a spare frame brace rod left over.. So i put it to use and installed it below the mount using the pre-drilled servo screw holes.
Apart from having to recess the plate more then intended, it works quite well.
