Now i don't know about the Raptor, but i've just been through this with my Vibe, which also has no detail on the clutch bearing.

I pressed out the old one using a vice and a few sockets, once the one way bearing was out there was a code on the top of it, stuck that into google and there was a whole host of suppliers selling them for under a fiver delivered.

Have a look in the JR forum, 'cracking noise whilst starting', i think i put a link in there.

    Thanks

I attempted to do one once on my Titan and damaged the bearing putting it in. What a waste of time and money that was.
The bearing was about £6.85 plus P&P. I ended up putting a new clutch in, cost me about £16.00, but a lot less hassle. The only reason I attempted the bearing change was that I had already balanced the clutch and replacing it meant I then had to balance the new one.
If you happen to already have a bearing then I'd give it a go.
          Mike.

You can get a 'heavy duty' clutch from FL for just over £10 with a new bearing installed.

That's what I did when mine started 'clicking'..

            this is the one

looks like the price has gone up a little since I bought mine 3 weeks ago. I think the postage was about £1.60 for the single item so still under £12 delivered.

Just purchased this one at £1.97 + delivery, worth a go as I am not in as hurry because I wont be flying for a while after a visit to hospital next week. It should give me something to do when I come out. http://www.akbearings.co.uk/product....ID=97&P_ID=425

Did you remove and measure the old bearing before ordering the new one?

                Thanks

As far as I recall, the Raptor bearing is the same size as a knight one.
I changed one in my Knight clutch by pressing it out in a vice using some sockets, and replaced it with a T-Rex 450 one way bearing I had going spare. It's been in there for a couple of gallons now and still going strong.
