  • Real Flight G3.5 with DX6i?

    Trying to use my DX6i using pass through mode via the interlink controller. I can get the heli to spool up, turn left & right and the swash movements for elevator and aileron are all working, but the heli will not lift off. Am I missing something here in channel mapping, I followed the "ironcreek" settings?

    Got it to fly, just need to get it to work with Idle up mode. Anyone any idea?

      This is for G4 and DX6i, but the theory should be the same, esp setting up the heli for and external connection per model, or it will not function properly:

        I used these settings and still cannot get the F.mode switch recognize during calibration.

          The flight mode switch does not transmit anything, is only changes the curves output from the radio. You need to set you normal, idle up and throttle hold curves up for both pitch and throttle, as would would a 3d model.

          You may also need to adjust the pitch servo channel for each model as you setup for pass through mode.

          It's a lot of messing about, but ok once you have it done for the models you wish to use.

            I think the addition you will need on the edited model is:

            Electronics->Pitch Servo
            Input for this Servo: Receiver Channel 2

                    Go to Aircraft Editor and under "Software Radio" you can select expo's for the various channels.

                    Also it may be helpful to you that there is an excellent forum in the swap pages too.

                    Hope it helps
