  • Zoom Crash. ESC problems?

    Hi everyone!

Last Saturday i crashed my zoom 400 and now i have big problems!
Everytime i turn on the TX and heli, the motor don't work. The servos move very slowly and sometimes they even don't react to the commands i give them! But there's something that haven't happened to me yet. A red light on the ESC turned on. Now everytime I turn it on, the damm light turns on! I don't know what that means! The batteries of the heli and TX are charged. What the hell is the problem? Can anyone tell me??

    Thanks

Sounds more like an Rx problem than ESC. Do you have another Rx to swap in and try?

    What model ESC is it?

or a spare normal 4 cell reciever battery to plug in place of the speed controller, this will tell you if the rx and servos are ok.

My bet is on the speed controller taken a hit and the BEC has died or the battery is not putting out enough volts.

        Hi there!

The ESC is a Protech stock. I guess Ade_Law is right! I think that the red light on the ESC means that there isn't enough voltage to supply the whole thing! I read that on the manual. I also tried to charged the battery and checked that only have 7.5 volts, or should I say, it's damaged! There's a non working cell. That's why the servos don't move properly. They don't have enough energy!

Thanks for your expertise! You're the best!!
