Hi. I am relatively new to this great hobby and therefore i still have some 'issues' about the setup of my model that i would greatly appreciate some help on.
I have a standard zoom 400. I am still learning to master the basics. Obviously i need a model that is setup to be timid so that it would make hovering and basic slow flying easier.
I would like to know what percentage speed i should run at, now i run a setup on my Futaba ff9 as follows:
full back 0.0%
1/4 stick 42.5%
mid stick 85.0%
3/4 stick 85.0%
full stick 85.0%
My reasoning is that if i dont run my headspeed at maximum then my model will be less 'nervous' and easier to control.
Is this correct? What is the max head speed on the zoom 400
and how should i set it up for my level of flying?
Also, I set the tracking on my zoom but i just can't seem to get it 100% right. There is about a one milimeter gap between the two tips. Is there an acceptable 'gap' or should the blades be tracking exactly 100% in the same plane.
PLEASE HELP
Thank you
