Default Spectra G - Finally had the courage..

It's been a long time coming (yeah, alright you smutty lot)..but finally had the courage to fly an inverted circuit with £2.5K+ of heavy in the air.. and a good string of tick tocks an even better quadruple traveling axial rolls and 6 elevator flips on the spot..

Not quite enough courage to have another flight.. and came home

Yep, that's perdy brave indeed! I have always been very tentative with the Predator, I've never even flown it inverted just the moment of inverted
you get doing a loop etc. I need to see what I can do to make it 'feel' less heavy in the air because last time out I just felt like it was a block of
lead with a rotor on top. I have replaced the swash servos with DS610s and put a pair of Radix 710s on it so we shall see.

I was looping my gassers from day one..so long as the rotors keep going it's just a glide-over..
Its not so much heavy on the sticks as such...just have to think ahead rather than 'catching' it late... way more stable as you know.. a decent hurricane hardly affects it and inertia stops jerky stick movements bouncing it...

My problem is the past history.. some pilot errors but also mechanicals.. when I'm flying it there's more concentration on engine tone and untoward twitch or vibe than on the actual steering!

    Oh yeah. Me next.

Form an orderly cue behind please. Last one to fly has to pick up all the pieces

Anyone wants to fly it they can.. usual rules..you break it you mend it. It's just the parts costs and delays.
You get 15 minutes a tank costing about 70p :-)

Scott Greys on the mains.. about £130 if you just ding those..but usually it's the shafts, grip arms, boom, skids, possible bent ladders, canopy and boom and if really unlucky then the crankshaft needs checking.. usually also several 9252 gear sets. Or if you crash superbly then you can do the frames as well <g>

One genuine dumbthumb... Once flying on thick cloudy day..until they parted and I was directly in the sun mid-flip. And once lost a link.
