I've test flown it (well mostly hovering & climbs) & it didn't suffer any violent twiches or yaws. The tail seemed a lot more sensitive & i had to up the expo loads. The heli did slightly yaw left (nose left) in a couple of puches but i think that was my thumb
I'm going to have another try tomorow & see how it is.

You should be able to get the gain up to 100 or even higher now that you`re getting the heli sorted. That gyro works best at above 80. lf that doesn`t do it you need to look at tail blades.

A was flying it better later but this was my 1st loop/flip & brief inverted since doing the mod. Later on my confidence in the tail grew. Don't watch if your offended by park flying (although those houses really are a long way from where we were flying) that's the marval of the zoom lens.

I've got,,,my heli's got tail problems again. I was flying it today when the tail suddenly done some rapid twitches. I'd say it twitched about 3-4 inches left then right rapidly (about 4 twitches) & so i landed. I checked the gyro to see if the light was flashing but it was solid. As you know it's earthed aswell. I've checked the servo gears & they are all perfect. I have no way of testing the servo other than sending it to JR but the testing guy is on holiday until the 17th. Should i now order some new thrust bearings for the tail to eliminate that as the cause? It's annoying because i've not had any trouble since the earthing mod but now it's starting again.

Well after a long while without issues today whils nose in upright (thankfully) it started twitching then stopped then twitched again & stopped then BAMM!! The tail just started piroetting & each time i regained controll it would go the other way then i'd lose it again etc. Thankfully i kept it level & hit hold & landed it safely with no damage. The Gyro & RX's were not flashing. I'm going to send the servo to JR for testing. I'm really annoyed as i've done all static prevention including Graphit 33.

If it helps I can send you a spare Mystery 401 gyro I have lying around - not the best gyro in the world but people liken it to a Futaba 401 and it should help you test at least if it is your gyro at fault? Also have a Futaba GY240 if you fancy something solid, proven if nowadays unimpressive.
