    Hi
    Smiles
yeah i painted it myself, i did start painting canopys to sell them.
But to be honist when i worked it out. The cost of the canopys + the paint, and the fact it takes minimum of 2-3 days to complete one, once sold i ernt around £20 so i knocked it on the head.

You will like the 400 it flys really well i can double check i am sure you run 18t pinion and 100% flat curve, or 19t if you want to run with some head room for the governor.
I am running the 18T with 100% flat curve.
    +/- 13 on pitchs
    10 on cyclic.

    Ivor,nice flying

As i am now suddenly a proud owner of two Logo 500 3d`s it seems only right i stick a Logo 400 on the wish list.

I would want the flybar one but i know it comes with a placcy motor mount and bushes where bearings would be ideal.

How is the placcy motor mount?,i assume it must be Ok but maybe not brilliant. Also i can swap the bushes for bearings on the build.

I am not interested in a V Bar kit which has the nicer bits so is the standard version Ok to be going on with?

    Cheers
    Chris

    Hi chrisb
    Thanks.
i have a logo 10 (same frame ect) plastic motor mout and it still has bush`s,, running on 8s 2300rpm 500mm mains,,it works perfectly.
thrust bearings in the tail is the only thing really needed.
bearings in the head is of course beter but mines had 100s of flights nearly as many crashs and its still running the same bush,s and motor mount.

The Logo 400 is a great flyer despite the total lack of any bling whatsoever, with only the trusted tail being really needed. It's got a much bigger feel than the other helis in this class that I've flown.
The pain is the sideframes which are supplied pre-cut to accept Futaba 9650s. If you want to use any other servo, it's a struggle to get them to fit, unless you get your supplier to swap the the frames for the Logo10 set which will take other servos much more easily. There's no other difference in the frames.

We've got a 400 Vbar here that we're going to try the Gaui 3 axis flybarless gyro in.
