whats the difference with the motors and does it affect battery choice?
Motors can vary greatly in performance and price.
Performance is a lot to do with the windings in the motor and the quality/guage of wire used.
KV ratings (which equals RPM per volt) allow you to work out your LiPo and pinion for a desired headspeed and flight time etc.

    Cheers,
    Rob

    Cheers Rob,

So a 1600kv motor powered by a 22v batt would give you 35200rpm and then your gearing it down with your pinion and main gear ratios to get your desired head speed?

Hello all, I have been around logo's for a while now and never heard of the nylon bolt on the skids mod.. I can safely say the frames weakest point is that part so I will be converting.
Nice to see you here ivor.

I see you are running the Z50a 1150 in your Logo 500,how are you finding it?

Did you try any other motors,if so how does it compare? and what sort of flying style and duration do you get?

    Cheers
    Chris
