Thread: Vbar and analog servos?

My recently purchased Protos 500 came with hs82mg servos on the head, I'd like to equip it with a vbaaaaaa but don't know if there supported.

This goes for mini and full size vbar.
I've read that the mini will when upgraded to Pro software but does the full size do it as standard?

I know that in the advance option on swash it allows you to pick analogue servos.


From a Mikado PDF:

"Q: Which Servos are suitable for MiniVstabi Blueline in connection with V 5.0 Express Firmware?
A: MiniVStabi Blueline V5.0 Express must be oparated with digital servos. Do not use analog servos in connection
with V 5.0 Express. Only Firmware V 5.0 Pro can be used with analog servos."

Nope, it's only with the pro can you select analog - full size or mini.


Worth the money to upgrade anyway .

No worries - I'm sure you know already so hope this doesn't come out the wrong way... but just to double check make sure that V-Bar is set to analog before plugging in servos otherwise you'll be smelling the magic smoke .
