Thread: Bank switching and gov

I have followed someone's instructions on how to set bank switching on flight mode switch on a dx7 (see screen shot below), that works fine. Couldn't work out how to adjust the requested head speed as it was at 0 in idle 2, so I followed Sacko's tip to set gov to throttle channel and use throttle curves, however I have disabled gov in normal and I have no throttle and I can't work out why, when I set it to nitro it works.
idle one and two it doesn't move but is that because I am requesting max head speed and throttle would be open?

Just use Gear for Bank Switching and Channel 1 for gov.

Have you got normal throttle curve set below 50 as mr Mel's video so gov is off or is that what you use bank for?
What I'm trying to achieve is no gov normal and 2 head speeds, but I have a gain issue with the higher head speed so that's why I was trying to have a 3 position bank, the banks are working with that setup, I just can't get my head round when gov is off I have no throttle, Im thinking I may have it to the wrong channel but when the gov is on it works
