If the dealer mentioned it was against manufacturers recommendations to the customer then thats Ok,they would be silly not to make a sale to a willing customer as long as they pointed this out.

If on the other hand the customer told them of his intentions and they knowingly kept quiet then they are really very naughty and dont deserve any Tea.

IMHO it would be a complete waste of time fitting a Mini V to a 50 in preference to the standard unit anyway.There is plenty of room on the airframe and the separate sensor would be preferable due to minimising vibration issues.

Does the dealer now know that it is not a good idea to fit in larger helis.. and informed customers they sold it to knowingly that they were going to fit it to them, that it is not wise to do so?

Just found this old thread accidentally from a Google search. Got me thinking. I take it on 5.3 pro/express, it's OK on a 50 size electric these days? I'll be running power into the Rx and Vbar using 2 Y Leads from a 2S LiFePO4 pack, so I should be OK power wise?

They removed the size limit on the mini for electric helis a while ago :

Not sure how real the concern about the power bus really was as that doesn't seem to be an issue these days.
