Thread: Well hello 500!

Today my 500 EFL pro turned up. I am like a kid in a sweetshop. Usual process of tearing off the packaging and leaving it scattered around my desk at work while I 'oooh' and 'aaaah' at all the bits. So chuffed. Will start the build this evening and might even be able to maiden this weekend if I can get some lipos in time.

Cannot wait.

Will be using stock Align servo's, motor and esc and minivbar.

I've been debating a 500 after clearing out a few items an airframes but am waiting to see what the
Blade 500 is like first. I'm loving the 450 & am even able to half piro flop it

Danno I think you will get on just fine with the 500 ;-) says the guy that's just binned his pro for the 4th time in 4 weeks :-(
I dunno what it is about that little 450 but it's a real dirt magnet

Thanks all. I sold my 450 Pro and all the lipos/spares so that I couldn't go back to it. Then I got the chance to get a 500 at a great price and I couldn't say no. Thankyou so much to that person, who shall remain anonymous.

Now, how do I tell the mrs................?

No, its the same one as I always had, what do you know woman? I just got a new canopy for it which is the front bit. Was cheap of the forum, £15!!!!

Now you're making me jealous, I've only got the ESP and think I really need to make it fbl, presumably then it will be much the same. Just need to decide on the FBL unit, thinking spektrum ar7200 would be nice.

What am I worried about anyway, I'm off to Vegas tomorrow for a few days and a full sized heli trip of the Grand Canyon followed by two weeks on the gulf coast.

look out cows were coming to get you.as a thought i have a spare man cave that i could hire out to poeple who want to build there helis without thier wifes or girlfriends or boyfriends nowing,comes with free wifi but not sure wot size tv to get.

500 is a sweet heli. As mentioned above though, they love the high HS! They really come alive at about 2600/2700rpm. But then so do your pants....
