    Unhappy E-Flight 450 3D RTF

Hi, I have a question! I have an E-Flight 450 3D RTF. The tail servo is making a 'buzzing' noise, can any one advise.

It's not a problem - most tail servos do buzz

    Hi,

Is it working as normal when you move the rudder stick?

It may be binding somewhere, you can disconnect the tail control rod from the servo to check this.

    Cheers

Take a quick video if you can.

I'm sure the guys on here will quickly be able to tell you if it's normal or not.

    Is it a blade 450 3d?

If so I could take a quick video of mine so you can compare if it helps?

Yes, it is a 450 3D. Does the servo on yours 'buzz'. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the 450 3D and the tail servo on mine has a nice loud buzz. Never been a problem and works fine.

    Hi Chippyy54,

Thanks for your reply, will take it on board.
The 450 is my first heli with a tail servo, so I was alarmed when hearing the 'buzz'.

    Hi Sburv,
Thanks for your help. Could not make out video, but thanks for your time and effort. I will contact Horizon on Tuesday to check with them. I will let you know the result of my enquiry.

Main thing is to check for binding, as Laurence said. It is not good to stall a servo. If it's buzzing at mid stick then it could be binding, might need some dirt wiped off with an oily rag. Next thing is to see if it gets hot. If it hurts then you might want to look at if you have the right setup for the servo. My DX7 buzzes. Works ok though and checked by Horizon.
