Well if you build a heli with metric cap heads sourced in say the UK and a heli with cap heads sourced in say Taiwan you will find to get a good fit you may need a different allen wrench. As there are slight differences.

That's just poor manufacturing. The heads on the metric bolt/screw were designed to have a metric driver, but crappy manufacturing processes and no quality control means they are rarely the right size.

That is correct in principle but its well known that the likes of align heli's have different size cap heads compared to other heli's. Kyosho and Thunder tiger a normal driver works but align were always slightly different.

And you'll need some liability insurance, because you are charging the BMFA don't cover it.

The local pro build/school insurance is £460 per annum, it's a lot to recover.
