It's a shame. I really enjoyed going to it when it was in the UK but there's no way I could either afford an overseas jolly to go to it.... Big shame...

bottom line the 3D Champs here in the UK was miles better anyway....... you want a competion with some soul then 3D Champs is the one, you want a stiff, regimented soul-less lack of fun then visit 3D Masters. Even the evening flying was crap at 3D Masters, worst ever in my experience, nothing like the laugh we used to have in Northampton.

When it was in Spain last year, I imagine quite a few people justified going by incorporating it in to their summer Spain holiday. Can't see that happening with it in holland. Good luck barrow boy!

Just an extract from world weather. In Rotorworld this month barrow boy laid down his stipulations for a 3D masters venue, the weather, low cost accommodation, an alternative if the weather is bad? How can you do this unless your having it in a blimp hangar. I've got it, move it back to Northampton and use the Cardington hangars if it starts to rain.

    Netherlands Climate

Mild, maritime climate. Summers are generally warm with changeable periods, but excessively hot weather is rare. Winters can be fairly cold with the possibility of some snow. Rainfall is prevalent all year.

Guess what, we also agree with you that the 3dmasters in england was the best. But we are setting the bar as high as we can. Aiming to make this 3dmasters the best 3dmasters to date.

There are actually quite a few cheap venues close to or in venlo for you too stay at. Plus holland is not very expensive around the south.
