    Have been doing a bit of maintenance tonight on my 700n on taking the blades of I noticed this. Bloody scary if you ask me. Big hole in the root of the blade. Hope you can see in the pics.

    That is a lucky escape. What make of blades are those.

    Bloody scary thought if one of those let go !!!!

    Not good Gaz.. It pays to check your heli over frequently

    They do look like NHP's to me as well I've used NHP's for years and although they are not the most aggressive blade for 3D I liked them and have never had a single problem with any of them.

    Are they NHP's???
    The man that has never crashed a heli has never flown a heli.

    My concern is not with who makes them it's more for folks to check the roots of any blade really. It was only cuz of routine maintenance that I found the prob.
