Well after much thought, i decided to move from my beloved 600NSP in favour of something different. I toyed with the idea of a Velocity or the upcoming N5 but when the oppertunity of this heli arose i just couldn't resist.
I have to say the build quality is second to none and the whole design/layout of the heli just looks right. Only the weather is holding back the maiden but this heli just cries out to be flown!... can't wait. I'm keen to get feedback from others experience of the heli and any pros/cons that affect ownership. I am fully aware of the higher price points for spares against Align etc so no need to debate that point. I have researched parts costs and yes they are more expensive but it's the nature of the beast and a top range heli. (and they are not that bad really!! )Spec and piccies below... JR Vibe 50 O.S 50 Hyper Align DS610's on cyclics (yes i do trust them LOL) GY611/9256 MP5 SB Radix mains/tails kasama head/tail. Many thanks to Mattie - Lodge for the Airframe and moonmanflyer for the lengthy evenings help on the set up. Cheers lads!! ![]()

i had one briefly mark. to date still the best tracking 50 i have flown but also too heavy for ME. i went out my way to lighten mine btw with the suggested mods on RR, then some.
the quality is certainly better than align but that wouldn't be hard would it now. that said it's not as good as i THOUGHT it should have been. i had a lot of fitting issues during build but obviously you won't have that!. problems were main mast over size, broken mixer arms, TT wouldn't fit, TT gears needed shimmed. nothing major but things i wasn't expecting on my first JR heli. couple of plus points- 1. tracks way better than ANY heli i have ever had (140 ccpm) 2. the tail design is superb and all heli makers should take note. all in all not for me, imho it's not worth the money to fix it when you bump it is why i sold it. sorry it's not an all it's brilliant post but you asked for honest appraisal. cheers |

Mark,
It's an excellent model and you can't really go wrong with it. Mine never missed a beat all the time I had it and was completely stock out the box. The only reason I sold it on was because I never got enough time to fly it! The guy who bought mine off me I fly with regularly and it's had several gallons through without a problem. Fill it up and fly is all I can recommend.. ![]() Cheers Mark |

Ive had mine a few month, I would say the build quality is excellent, ease of working on I dont think there is much better to work on, the bolts are a pleasure to use and ive not had to get my dremel out once for it, which makes a change.
only downsides obviously price which has been mentioned, I find on mine the tail drive is quite noisy, the only think ive had go wrong is one of the mixer arms snapped, I still cant figure out how it happend so it may have just been a problem with this one inparticular, although all it sis was make the elevator a little sluggish till I landed it. all in all I like it alot,

A clubmate has a Vibe 50 and it's a genuinely nice heli, it was a reasonable price too when launched but £570 and repair costs more than some 90's makes it a non-starter for me, shame really because I've flown it
