    Default GensAce 5300 question

My new set of packs showed up yesterday but I have a mounting question for you folks. With the odd size of the GensAce 5300mah 30C 6S packs, how are you mounting them in your bird.

    Flat on bottom?
    Flat on the top?
    Tall in the center?

    Chatty crowd.

About time to order up another set and prep for the parts shipment coming in the next few days.

One vote for each: 1 flat bottom & 1 tall center.

    Anybody have thoughts?

Personal I'm not a gens ace user but if I was I would mount them with wires coming out the top on my E7. On my 550 I would probably mount them wires out the side.
I would imagine wires out the bottom would be problematic due to how they exit the packs.

The trouble is GensAce availability here in the UK is next to zero. Which is a shame.
Most likely nobody ever seen a GensAce 5300 in the UK.

I use these Turnigy 6s 5000mah 30C that you can get for a super discount right here in the UK:- Turnigy 5000mAh 6S 30C Lipo Pack (UK Warehouse)
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

I use those Turnigy's and have found them to be fine for normal flying. If you are planning to smack your Heli around a bit, you may want the 40c versions which are no where as cost effective at the moment.

By the way, if anyone is buying some from HK, can you PM me your buddy code so I can order some at a discount and you can get some money back. It's a win win scenario!!

Cheers guys. Looks like the price must already be the best they can offer as the codes don't appear to be giving me anything off. I'll order one from each of your codes so you may both get something back :-)
