    Default KK+ gets Auto Level

The KK+ controller from Multi RC Shop now has MEM's gyro's and Acc
which with Mike Bartons new firmware will give KK users Auto level.
You need PPM output from the receiver or a PWM to PPM encoder as its now using 5 channels
and only has four inputs on the controller. And as I have found out a FF9 fitted with a Spectrum
Tx module takes the Futaba PPM and converts it to PWM at the receiver. So I can feel an 8FG
is needed and get rid of the old FF9.

Is this the one you have to do the DIY upgrade or do they do one that is prebuilt?

yes you have to do it yourself, but it only takes 10 minutes. You are just disconnecting the outputs of the gyro's and telling the board to use external inputs. I have been video d hands in pockets for 1 min 9 sec, it just very gently wandered about due to the warm weather.

Sounds pretty cool, is it only possible on the 5.5e
Looks like it has built in power distro too??
    Cheers

Mike H and I went flying the quads today, its the first flights for his since fitting the MEM's, hardly any breeze, the new gyro's are so good we could both hands off for over 2 mins, no trim and just played with the auto level. It was so stable we didn't need the auto level. It would be good for FPV but thats out of my reach.

It'll be a toss up against one of these or the crius multiwii, which works out cheaper I think.
