    Hi Dean

I think the best idea is to find the club websites and contact them to see if there is someone who flies helis in the club. I know the bourne club doesn't welcome helis but i cant speak for the others, but the Grantham club is large and should have someone who can help you and they have a great flying site at Barkston Heath. I fly near Market Deeping with 2 other guys and there is a dedicated Heli club at Thorney which isn't that close to you but flying with experienced guys will be a great help in the long run.

PM me if you want more help.
    Cheers

    Andy

There's a lot you can do without joining a club, not that joining a club is a bad idea. Going along to the field and getting the feel of a club is a good idea. All clubs are different. What rc experience do you have?

There's Leicester Model Aero Club at Gumley - Not sure if it's too far for you but I travel 40 miles to go for the day. Good facilities with a proper club hut, kitchen and his/hers bogs and they own the field. Theres a small group of heli flyers at this club (I'm one of them).
