    Default Grantham Flying Buddys?

    Hi
Is there any good Heli clubs or flyers near Grant?
Tried the BMFA and not had much joy from the local Grantham club?
Is the Thorny club near Peterborough still going?
    Thanks in advance

Probably about half an hour away from eagle, I would say is your best bet, it is purely heli's, there is one closer to you but they are primarily fixed wing, but the club name has jumped out of my head at the moment, get in touch with Adieuk on here, or if its still working, click the link in my signature below (as I said if its working lol) and give Adie a ring

If its not working the link is here

The other is Kesteven Model Flyers, I visited once, and like I said, I am sure it is 80% if not more fixed wing flying

    Thanks guys
The Thorny club was a very loose and friendly club,They used to fly on a sunday morning at the rugby club,so may be worth you having a drive down Astra8vt
It all depends where i end up in the next few weeks,, but Eagles is not to far from grantham so well worth a look at as 25 miles from here and 60 miles from peterborough
I would like to know more about the holbeach one though as thats another option

    Just seen this, sorry!

Fenman, give Adieuk a PM, or myself with your number and we can get back to you tonight.

We can fly anytime we like day or night, have a Mahoooosive field to fly in. We mostly fly on Sunday's but any day is open really. We've got accommodation on its way, and about 20 members this year. Plenty room for all of us to fly at once! The RCHA flew 50 at once at the fly-in last year.

We're a friendly bunch, if not the most picturesque! We have people learning on MCPX's to people with TDR's, so don't feel intimidated. It's primarily an all heli club, but if you want to fly a plank, as long as noone minds then its not an issue! (Adie will moan, but thats nothing new!!)

    Insurance is a must, BMFA/RCHA.

Gimme a PM matey and see what we can sort out!
