Default Is there a simple way to convert to brushles

    Hello all

I am just wondering if there is an easy solderless way to go brushless on my mCPX when the main motor goes, i once converted my Honeybee V2 by soldering the 4 in 1 but my eyesight is letting me down just lately.

I think i read somewhere there is an option but i dont know what parts are required like motor, esc etc, i do have a new Microheli frame in the box ready to fit but again i am waiting for my stock frame to break.

    Thanks Dave

I think this conversion kit doesn't need soldering:

yep,the midland bl kit is pnp and the only one,as far as i know, available in the uk right now. dont hold me to that though! i would be interested to hear if you do find one from somewhere else as i am pondering going bl myself! the only thing holding me back right now is throwing nearly £70 at this heli in one go!

Yarp. Brushless mCPX Conversion Bundle | Midland Helicopters Ltd did my mcpx v1 as my post yesterday

    mcpx+Hawk creations motor 007.jpgmcpx+Hawk creations motor 006.jpg

So after a lil bit o squinting i upgraded my mcpx v1+ microheli carbon frames and +20mm on the tail, not enough power! so fitted the Hawk creation Hc-025 brushless motor and the Hc-o32 esc/converter without any problems (exept the eye's!) it flys ok but i'm a bit stumped with the Hc-032 esc set up, i have followed the set up instructions lol! but can't get rid of the inconsistant throttle in (normal) idle up is ok'ish at the described 60%. can anyone enlighten me as to the set up of this esc?

Sorted smooth as a virgins thigh! not that i can remember lol esc/converter needed programing properly lol. just as a note (excuse the punn) the stock mcpx motor wieghs 12g the Hawk Rc brushless motor Hc-025 is 4.2g and the Hawk RC esc Hc-032 is 2.4g do the math yourself! power to wieght ratio is markedly improved. + the nano tech batterys i've got comming should get quite a reasonable flight time now

    cheers

I had this email today about this brushless setup eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace still a bit dear for me just for an upgrade.

To spend this amount of money i would seriously need see some major benefits from my mCPX.
