Probably a stupid question, I am going to put a carbsmart on my rappy today, should I take the rachet spring of the needle valve?
Thanks
Sean

hello mate I have not used one but did look at buying one once and I am 99% sure that you do remove the ratchet spring, when you think about it the spring is used to stop the needle from turning because of vibration etc if you fit the carb smart the needle is held and moved by a servo, hope this helps and merry Christmas

Yes. I broke mine fitting the plastic attachment. Take it off and keep it safe for later.
PS - seach for the Finless Bob video on HeliFreak.com to get some useful top tips on fitting the Carbsmart - saved me some potential grief.
