    Default If & only IF???

If & only IF I wanted to build a new model from all the kit I have on my Swift 16 what should it be?

I like the Swift. I enjoy flying it, but supposing I wanted to transfer all the electrics, motor, batts etc, would it be Rex, T.Tiger???

Axi motor, 4 S cells ....I' don't want to ditch my investment in these batts

The Swift is supposed to be 600 size. What options??

    Thanks all

    David

    Don't get me wrong...unless I am

The Swift is an electric bigger than a 450. I think the electric sizes do not match nitro sizes. So a 600 nitro is bigger than a 600 elec.

I THINK the Swift is a bit bigger than a Trex 500 but not as big as my Raptor 30 nitro.

    Does that make sense???????????????????

Trex 600 electric and nitro are the same size - both use 600mm blades
Not sure about the Axi motor, but you could get a 600e and run on 8S (double up your packs - depending on mah size).

    Or maybe a logo 500?

    Cheers,
    Rob

no 600's are based on the can size of the motor, it just happens that most 600's are 50 sized

    David,
the Axi motor isn't going to cut it in a Logo 500, neither will 4S packs, it's really a 5-6S machine and more at the 6S end It's the same story with the Raptor E550, 30 size blades but only really flies on 6S as its a heavy beast.

You could probably fly an MSH Protos on 4S although you'd need to use the motor in the kit. There's a few pinion options and the 18T that comes with the kit would work. Maybe the Trex 500 if there are large enough pinions available although the Trex 500 weighs 200g more than the Protos with the same setup. These are both 425mm blade helis so smaller than the Swift.

If you want a larger heli then you'll have to look at using 6S battery packs and replacing the Axi, the best home for the Axi would probably be a plane!

    I run my Trex 500 on 4S with a 16T pinion.
The 4S packs are revos 4200 and are just great for the job.
    Adrian.
