Well, I've now built the majority of the frame. During the installation of the bottom plate I experienced my first "cheese screw" occurrence. The centre screw that secures the base plate stripped the allen head so I've removed it, highlighted the drawing, and I'll fit a new one before commissioning the model.
I'll have to buy the stainless fastener kit as standby methinks.
Anyway, in the words of the immortal Rolf, "Can ya tell what it is yet?"

Well, just spent an hour or so completing the head build. Made my first mistake - assembled the grips onto the feathering shaft and forgot to fit the feathering shaft sleeve. Bummer - had to pull them apart, install the sleeve and put them back together again. Such is life eh?
Anyway, here's the head complete:

Well, not posted for 2 days now.
12/1 - flew 3 packs, absolutely pants, just had no control
13/1 - Flew 3 packs, tried working on circuits round the room. Was going well until the last pack, when I piled it into the wall. Bent both shafts, and knackered a bearing trying to dismantle everything. It appears the outer shaft bent just above the top bearing, so the bearing didn't want to come off! I had to dremmel the inner bearing off the shaft. Tried to straighten
I fear that my medication may be wearing off and I am in need of help.Has anyone any experience of fitting Sceadu mechanics into a T.T. body (Hughes 500 or similar) or some other scale(ish) type body.Has anyone a body shell for sale? All help and advise is appreciated
Ran 3 LiPos through. Stiil practising precision landings. But, best bit, I did 2x4 minutes nose-in hovers
