Having crashed the 450X at the weekend I have two stripped servos. I ordered 2 gear sets from align-trex.co.uk and they arrive tomorrow with the bits and pieces I need to complete the 550 build... not that I have started it yet. I start the 550 build Friday. I have been in a state of confusion over which batteries to get for the T-Rex 550e. Some say don't bother with the cheap ones, some say they have had the cheap ones for years and they are fine. At the moment this will be in addition to the 450s but that may change if I find myself not flying the 450s much. I will again be putting a HC3-SX controller on the new heli but as there is low stock of the controller in the UK at the moment I may have to remove the HC3-SX from the Trex 450 and put the 3GX that comes with the 550 onto the 450 temporarily. ...
