Basically i'm not too confident as last time i went out in a little wind i came back with a pile of bits in the shape of a T-rex 450.
If you are not having fun then don't fly. There is nothing to prove here and it's not a challenge (let's get real, flying a toy heli in adverse weather conditions can hardly be considered a challenge), so don't force yourself.
I stay at home when it's gusting to 20 mph (according to xweather forecast and trees in my garden). Less that that I'll fly if temperature is ok and it doesn't feel cold.
For a 450 10mph gusts can be annoying if you are a beginner. Steady wind is much better, but at least where I live, it's always gusty.

The onl reason I ask is that my first experience with wind ended badly and I wasn't too sure how much wind would affect my 450 as I am a beginner.
Weather seems to be picking now so I won't have to sit at the window hoping for a calm day.
Thanks for all your help and I will kept it in mind on those not so great days.
