Thread: What a day today ....

Been at the field early and the weather wasn't nice at all ...

Had the undercarriage on and had two flights ... nasty winds and surely unthinkable to try your first real flight in this conditions ... as the weather wasn't getting any better but I was eager to fly today I kept on flying and when in the afternoon the sun came out for a short bit I unfortunately already had flown all my batteries ...

with the earned confidence however it was time to let go the undercarriage, so borrowed a pack from a fellow member and took the heli to the flight line again (had no time to put on some nappies) ...

looks different ... deep breath ... lift off ... feels different ... after 5 lift offs and landings and a bit hovering around however I let my 600 slowly decent to the ground ... must admit I nearly pee'd my pants all the time but called it a day ...

so bye bye undercarriage and hello airspace ...
