You don't actually need FBL blades for a flybarless helicopter. They just help with stability and in flight performance.

If you do want FBL blades, then the Align 3G 425mm ones are the cheapest I know of at about £27, or £21 for seconds.

Yep' I think they are as good if not better than the 3G blades had the 425F's on my old fbl pro & at the time found them to be defo better than the 425D's & as you say very good for flips/rolls & one thing I found with them is how well they tracked done some superb rainbows but there not so easy to come by now, since sold the the old pro & now have the 500efl & although the 3G blades are good I tend to find I get abit more of a resonated effect from the 3G's than I did from the 425F's on sudden stops.

    Hi mate,

I have a 450 flybarless and use the 325d 3G blades they are cheap and in my opinion work very well never had any problems, I'm sure the 425d's will be the same.

3G's are good on the 450 as they are on 500 but by changing to a different set of blades gives you an idea of the different's in flight behaviour, the 425F blades where no more cheaper than the 425G's, 325D & 425D blades where the main ones I used when I converted to fbl & still have the D's on my 6 & 700.
