I have a 450SE V2 which I was flying all the time for about two years until last summer when I got a Beam E4.

On the SE V2 I was using Emax ES08 servos and they work great and are very inexpensive. The motor is a Turnigy Typhoon and I was very pleased with it as well. I always used the stock Align 35 amp ESC. I was using an MKS DS95 tail servo and a GY401 and the tail held rock solid.

My Beam has Hitec HS5065MG servos, Scorpion 2221-8 motor with Scorpion commander ESC, Spartan gyro and Futaba S9257 tail servo.
Beam E4, Blitz Avro, Hirobo SDX
    Raptor 50 and 90,Trex 500, Outrage 550

Century Predator SE gasser - the yank tank

My 450 pro had almost the exact setup as your beam sheryl except I used the align ESC & align tail servo on mine. it flew like it was on rails and the only reason I sold it was because I prefer flying bigger models

I've also got some flybar weights coming as the kit didn't have any, would you guys recommend fitting them as i'm a beginner?

If you are beginner and looking to hover around and learn then it would be a good idea as you can always move them further in as you progress and need more response Makes life easier
