Default Woo Hoo my first proper hover today

Just managed two 6 minute runs of fairly decent hovering with my CP Pro 2

A massive improvement on a couple of weeks ago when i could barely get it off the ground

I'd like to thank Phoenix for helping me understand the basics

I was beginning to wonder if heli's weren't for me but now something has clicked

Some very useful info here too, Thanks guys

    Chuffed to bits
I was struggling with setting it up to hover because the tail would go mad one way or the other. but I think I'm getting somewhere now

Well done bud!!.....Pheonix helped me loads too.....especially with nose in. The best bit of advice i read on a forum was, with reference to nose in orientation was to move the collective stick towards the direction the heli is moving.....confused!!.......

For example......heli is nose in.....moving to the right........heading for the cat!!.........ease the stick to the right to stop it.....
example 2.......heli is nose in.......moving to the left.........heading for the kids..........ease the stick to the left to stop it....getting it??!!!
last example......heli is nose in.....moving backwards........heading for the missus.......let it carry on!!....... lol (only jokin love....wouldn't be without her... xxx

Try this on Pheonix first........i got it good on the sim but thats about the stage i'm at......gotta get the balls - and warm weather to practice it for real with a very real chance of kissin terra firma....

    Regards, K@rlos........

I'm doing 3 batteries a day now just gentle movements and hovering, still mainly tail in but i'm working on orientation,
Its been a bit gusty the last few days and the cp pro 2 doesn't like wind up its A$$ much but i'm going well so far so i'm happy,
I think the carbon blades were a good idea as the wooden ones are crap, now i have more respect for the heli cos i don't wanna wreck em

Looking forward to getting the last of my electrics and finishing/setting up the Gootch 450
