Beast x v3!!! we now have 6 heli's running beast x and all are spot on the only thing we do is mount them on 3m tape which is quite thin and solid, jack flew two v bar models on sunday and as nice as they were he is staying with the beast for the time being.

I'm not sure it's just about the tape but hey, I'll give it a go!

What kind of pitch and settings are you running?

I'm running one on my 450 pro as well, it is very good but it just isn't a Vbar.

I do admire your persistance though, I would have given up a lot time ago. I almost sold the AR7200BX off my 500pro as I couldn't solve the wobbles and disconnected feeling it had. I then realised it was the DFC head and too low headspeed (2700). It's flying okay now, but I'm still tempted to swap it out for a Vbar. If only they weren't so damn expensive.

Right, I've sussed it but I don't know how to fix it.

The issue is with the head bogging. Put simply, bogging the head causes the BeastX to go a bit mental. I know, I should not be bogging the head but I stuck the Vbar back on and when I really load the head nothing bad happens like on the beastX.

Vbar is back on for now and I have to admit, it flies just so damn good I can't see me going back now. Will keep hold of the beastX unit for now and see if I can resolve the issue as to why it freaks out when the head is loaded.

Maybe the BeastX just struggles to deal with the changing cyclic and rudder response as the head bogs. I've got the AR7200BX on my 550 with no complaints but I don't fly like you do and haven't tried a V bar either.

I fly Futaba so naturally I've gone with the CGY750 but I would like to try a BeastX at some time, even though this post is about the Spektrum AR7200BX it is just a blended BeastX and Spektrum Rx.

The BeastX does seem to fly very well:

The goblin is one fugly helicopter but I'm liking the ENV video, so much so I may purchase the nitro conversion kit and it a 120 in mine.

Yeah, I was wondering if you get a vibration issue when the head bogs. (More load on the drive-train, maybe RPM hits a resonance, etc, etc.)
