Default beastx and CC Bec Pro

where do you plug the two leads from the CC BEC PRO? im guessing AUX 2 & 3 leaving bind the only port free?

and obviously removing the red wire from the esc into the BX.

    thanks.

I don't think you have to worry about the red core if you are using the Hv Phil. If you are using the Lv then don't they have a BEC included so no need for the BEC, just looked the ICE 100a has a 5 amp included. If you are going to add the CC BEC Pro then you do indeed need to remove the red core.

If its any help I use a spare channel on the rx for one of the leads and the other one is connected to the system port on the BeastX. This provides some diversity and negates the need to use two channels on the rx.

You only need the power and neg leads so if you are short of channels on the rx then you could use the spare pos and neg pins on the "gear" channel as that only uses the signal lead so the other pins are usually spare.

I have my bec pro (on my 550 and 500) cabled into the rx on one spare channel and the other lead directly into the Beast - works well.

    Cheers,
    Simon

Simon, he's using the AR7200Bx which only has Aux2 and 3 spare. I don't know about using the data/bind port. I wouldn't, but I suppose they must be on the same rail

    Hi bud,
I was under the impression from the thread title that he was using a beastx fbl controller and that's why I mentioned it, so now I understand that he is using the BeastX Spektrum version! Oops! I don't have that one but a quick message on the BeastX forum (within the beastx site) might clarify what can and can't be used?

    Cheers,
    Simon

As above Phil, use Aux2 and 3 which uses the same rail for suply, it's what I use with a 2300Mah LiFe pack. I wouldn't use the dat/bind one, not saying you can't I just wouldn't

I hope not, it's what I'm doing and can't see why it would be a problem. Please enlighten me Stan.

Agreed. That combination has only been in use over the last 5 years!

Kontronic ESCs are also prone to failure!
