Default Beastx mounting on a 500

Ok, I know there are a few of you out there running the beastx on a trex 500. Where are you pitting the beastx? On top of the boom mount or on the gyro tray?

If you put it on the gyro tray you can't get at the buttons and lights..

I'm just in the process of installing mine - I think it'll fit perfectly on the boom mount, make a very tidy install.

    Hi..
Here's mine... All the wires run between the frames. One side for the servos, the other to the RX..

    Flys great...

Gyro tray- much neater imo and easy to get to the single button and also see the lights.

I bent the little driver 90 degrees to get to the pots-

Steve, I went with this FBL head, which I believe is the RJX one. Got some spares to get today then on with the build. Hopefully have her in the air at the weekend and then you are welcome to come over the field

Fitted mine on the boom support but on test flights needed to set the parameters to 'extreme'
Today's outlook is fine for flying.
