nice flying, are you using the align flybarless head? and how does the beastx behave on something as small as a trex 250? Im thinking of getting one for mine.

Cheers. Yeah using the Align head. It handles like a much bigger heli and seems to have so much more power and doesn't bog nearly as much as the flybarred model.

No worries. I'm using the Align carbons but the all white one's. yes stock motor but with 16t pinion. Hands off hover it sits there nicely for quite some time before you have to get on the sticks again. Tried the 3d blades but they are quite sluggish compared to the tapered Align blades.

Thanks guys, not sure why I hit the tree. I was watching the 250 as it zipped past and totally forgot which field I was in. All part of the fun eh!

Lynx, just how many fields do you have??? I can't find a single one that is not MOD or privately owned here in Surrey. Can you suggest any bud?

PS. I belong to a club but flying days are limited to Wed, Sat & Sun. : (

I'm missing something here, I couldn't see the damn thing, too fast, too small, I don't know. How can you all see that it's good flying? I can't even see the damn heli, let alone decide whether it qualifies as good flying.

Blimey, you watching it on your casio watch or something!

I guess it means I'll have to buy a 700E then. There's nothing else for it!!

Now, how do I sneak it past the wife.........

Not too bad, managed to bugger one servo gear set and a feathering shaft but all else looks fine. £6 repair by the looks of it.
