    Default Not bad!!

Last weekend finally got to fly my avant after owning it for a couple of months, i wasn't happy with how it was flying so in the week reset the head with no delta and that just made it worse , so I put (per side) onto the flybar ( v paddles ) and added some delta ( 9 ) and it now flys much much better, even my 7 yr old commented on how good it flew. Would have sold it last weekend but now I'm keeping it , it will only get better as the hzr runs in. Frustrated though as it has to come apart to fit a new clutch and lining as its dragging really badly!

Glad you like it! Theyre a great flying heli and as Rob said easy to set up but not to be rushed. You may just need to burn the clutch in a bit from new. Ive had too with both mine, might be worth checking your clutch alignment too

Ok,so you 'just' built them and had no problems whatsoever then????

The op had a few problems and 2 of my mates had a hard time getting them right....or maybe they are just numpties, just cos you got it right it doesnt mean they are easy to set up,you must just be good lol

My experiance with my flybared e arrora, one of the ones Nick is on about was not that it was a pig to set up just I did not like it, the worst thing about it for me was the frame layout i.e no real protection for the packs, this was one of the reasons I sold it the other was how slow Avant were in supply, not only on the electric kits but the ridgid fbl head that I just gave up waiting for.

I bought my avant used so didn't build it although I gave it a good looking over, the guy ( lee) had made a very good job of putting it together, On removel of the engine the clutch was broken so its been replaced along with a new liner so its good to go again. I've noticed on my original post its missing 8grms weight I added to the fly bar( each side) , sorry but typing on these silly blackberrys isn't easy for those of us over 20!
