Yup, thats the one.
Its the flight before you did that then. @ 4mins into the flight, the antennas were switching. As Jamie said, check your sat wires. Make sure the left antenna is clear of the frame etc..

OK, just checked.
The left wire on RX1 was just touching the frame. So this would cause the switching issue?
What about the spool up issue??
At 1min 07 on page 15 is porb the spool up isse. By the time I have plugged in and walked to the flight line then spooling up that must be it.

If the actual wire is touching it, then yes. When the motor stopped, it may have just went into failsafe.
When spooling up, are you getting off the deck reasonably quickly?
My 700 doesnt like being spooled up with full headspeed on the deck and does what yours did.

No not getting of the deck quick. I run gov mode in the kontroniks which requires the headspeed to be reached at mid stick before take off so I always with all my vbar helis do this and have no issues with the other. This happens prob at half the headspeed???
It is happening to Robs also over on talkheli he said he too has this issue??
Oh, DSX9 MKII is the radio

Would be good to stick a bluetooth adapter and check the realtime vibe analyzer.
There may just be a certain frequency that the airframe produces at that RPM.
Other than that, check there arent any wires rubbing on the carbon, ferrite rings are in place, motor wires arent chaffing.

OK, cheers for your help![]()

Hmm, interesting. Was just running the Vbar spectrum tool thing and the max vibe I was getting was 1150. Tried a few things to reduce this and one off the things I done was to hold the heli of the bench while spooling up (someone was with me) and the max vibe was reduced to 389. So what I said about the skids might have some merit in it. You can feel the vibes are quite bad while holding the skids during spool up. So I got 2 velcro hook and loop and I have put them around the skids and pulled them quite tight. This brought the max vibe down to 750, pulled it a little tighter and this got the max vibe down to 589.
So next time I fly Im gonna see if it makes any difference at all but it has more than halfed the vibes which has to be a good thing

There are always higher vibes on the bench compared to in flight, that where it is a bonus having the Bluetooth adapter![]()

THese results are what I also saw but not too sure what they mean.
31.20 1872rpm
And
85.80 5148rpm.
The rest was well low compared
Will look at this Bluetooth adapter, so I can fly and someone can monitor on the laptop real time??

Its hard to really use the Spektrum analyzer results because Mikado have never said what is a 'good' amount of vibes to be seeing.
Ill most likely have a batch of BT adapters configured by the end of the month. Yup, realltime data![]()

OK, will look to see how much the BT adapters are. I gather one per unit is needed, not something you swap onto each heli?

Vbar for iPhone!!
Post 15...Otherwise they are £100
You can use one and transfer it onto different models (that part is actually working fine on my ones). I am currently renaming the devices on the firmware module though so that you could have one for each machine, and just select which model you wish to connect in the VBar software.

OH, cool.
So how do I do that?????????????
