  • TT70 PRO

    Hi All

I will be getting my second R60 on Mon. Unfortunately I will be away on business until Fri so will have to wait a week. Well I've waited three weeks so another one more won't be so bad.

Anyhow it's coming with the TT70PRO and I wanted to pick some brains as to the fuel/oil mix. I have been reading on RR that guys have been trashing TT motors like it's going out of fashion. It seems that Amerang/Thunder Tiger recommend 20% oil. Anyone come across this?

Currently I'm using Southern Modelcraft 10% nitro with 15% synthetic and 2% castor. I have used this fuel on all my engines from the OS 32 to the webra 61P5 with no hassles at all. Bear in mind that I'm a sport flyer angling towards scale. I've been looking at the Magnum 12% which is supposed to have 22% synthetic oil. (No wonder it smokes so much).

    Comments, ideas?

    Hello Ant.
I can give you the fuel That I use and it is the best of both worlds.
Take one gallon of southern modelcraft straight and make it up to two gallons by mixing it with 30% nitro magnum.
Smokes great with good lubrication and very little carboning up.
I will give you a fill up of mine when I see you for a trial.
    GOOD FLYING.
    Mo.
