  • Raptor 50 tail drive belt tension

How tight should be tail drive belt on my raptor be ? I completed the build of the tail and boom last night but when fitting this to the main frame the belt seems a little too loose. I guess you can adjust this tension by moving the boom further back but not 100% sure...

Keep the frame steady and pull the boom out then tighten the nuts to lock the boom in position. You want it tight, just enough to be able to push the belt about 1/2 cm inwards.
    Cheers

Thanks Stuart, right about moving the boom then still have to give it a once over once completed to confirm there is no slop or stiff links etc...
